Public Information Office (Marketing & Public Relations)
Job title: Web content editor/graphic design/new media (students must qualify for work-study funds)
Job description:
- Web content: ensure that content on the Seattle Central Web site is updated and accurate. Student will review pages for accuracy and content and submit changes to the Webmaster.
- Graphic design: work on real-world projects and publications.
- New media skills: Facebook, Myspace, flip video, video editing, and the next cool thing.
- Office duties: data entry, filing, mailings, and light clerical tasks.
Hours: Flexible schedule between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Student MUST qualify for work-study.
Minimum Requirements: Have an excellent command of English grammar and writing, as well as an eye for detail and accuracy.
Preferred Requirements: Have skills in Web content editing, graphic design, or new media.
About the PIO office: The office is an exciting place to work. We are responsible for college public relations, communications, publications, marketing and web projects. If you are interested in these fields, the PIO office is a great place to start.
