BAM Needs Development Help
BAM, a start-up that does athletic assessment testing (bamtesting.com is the old website) is in need of 1-2 junior level devs that can assist with site and application build out. Right now there’s three of us doing the tech/dev work. The designs and proto-typing are mostly complete and we’re ready to get a production end-to-end work flow built. We’ve all got day jobs and our schedules continue to slip. We’ve got leads on a couple of major business opportunities but can’t get the product out fast enough. Since we can’t reduce the feature base, it’s time to look for resources. Technology includes laser timing gates, client collection tiers, to web app, and dynamic online reporting.
Need experience in:
- aspx pages
- Familiar with data driven web apps
- Comfortable with xml schema design and basic sql
- Good sense of UX design for fine-tuning and layout
- Loves to work independently but not afraid to ask questions!
- Wants to work in tech and an interest in sports
We’re building on .net platform but MySql for db. This person will work closely with two other seasoned sr software engineers from Redmond.
Time requirements: Probably 4-6 hours / week. We work evenings and weekends.
Compensation:
- As it’s a start-up, there’s not much in the way of $ right now. As we ramp up, we can offer a few dollars when it’s available. We do practice gigs every few weeks to test our process. These generate a few bucks that we’ll gladly hand their way.
- Equity – % for sweat equity.
- Chance to go to the NBA combine. We do the assessment testing for the try outs. At the end of May, we’re heading back to Chicago.
