Center for Learning Connections Internship
Center for Learning Connections is offering an internship for a web and graphics assistant able to provide support to our lead web developer/graphic designer. The internship is 10-20 hours per week (flexible hours) and requires on-site work with the lead graphic designer/web developer. No remote-site work is being considered for this position. This is an unpaid 6-month internship that could easily qualify for college credit (independent study or cooperative education). Start date: preferably no later than November 2, 2009.
The Center for Learning Connections (CLC) www.learningconnections.org provides outstanding, exemplary training, project management, web development, and staff/professional development for cross-sectors including education, workforce development, non-profits, and the business community. CLC is located south of Seattle, Washington at Highline Community College (address: 23835 Pacific Highway South, Kent, Washington). CLC’s ability to delivery services is largely based on its graphic and web presence (including on-line web delivery of some of its training).

Minimum qualifications:
- Ability to work independently
- Computer basics (Microsoft Suite)
- Graphic design experience and keen interest Web development experience and/or willingness to learn
Desired skills:
- Experience with DreamWeaver
- Experience with InDesign
- Experience with PhotoShop
