ClearChannel Web Programming Internship
Are you interested in working in a fast-paced, fun environment that puts your web programming skills to the test, while satisfying your love for all things music and pop culture? We’re looking for that special person.
Here’s our checklist:
- Do you love PhotoShop?
- Do you dream in HTML?
- Have you dabbled in CSS and Javascript but want a lot more experience?
- Does the idea of working around famous pop music artists interest you?
- Do you have Perez Hilton bookmarked?
- Are you interested in creating web pages, photo galleries and video shorts for a large online audience?
If yes, then this is the internship for you. Work with our webmaster to take your programming skills to the next level, while keeping us on the cutting edge of what is H-O-T
Here is a sample of what our Web Intern Duties will include:
- Search for new, original content for the website (new music info, entertaining videos, relevant news articles, etc.)
- Edit short, in-house videos and photo galleries to create entertaining online content.
- Work directly with HTML and CSS to refine sophisticated page layouts.
- Write professional, entertaining online copy.
- Brainstorm original ways to reach our younger audience.
Qualifications:
- You must be a currently enrolled student where intern credits may be applied toward graduation.
- Responsible and self-starting.
- Sharp attention to detail.
- PhotoShop experience.
- HTML experience.
- Good writing skills.
- Any of the Following Qualifications are a Plus:
- Experience with both PC’s and Macs.
- Experience with movie making software (e.g., iMovie, MovieMaker).
- Experience with CSS.
- Experience with Javascript.
- Familiarity with the concept of a database.
- Familiarity with the concept of server side coding.
This intern position is unpaid, but we assure you that you will learn a lot.
