Puget SoundOff Needs Website Development Help

Puget SoundOff is a local civic engagement website and a collaborative project between Metrocenter YMCA, University of Washington, City of Seattle and One Economy.

We have pulled together the design team for this project already but there is an opportunity for someone to get involved with the development.

This person would be working primarily with an organization that is doing the development on the site.

The requirements for this would be:

  1. Advanced level HTML and CSS
  2. Good working knowledge of DRUPAL. (This person would not need to be an expert but someone who has built at least one site using Drupal.)
  3. Available to do this work over the summer. (Development should start in about a month and run through the summer.)

This is a pro-bono opportunity. However, there is the possibility that this could be enough hours to fulfill a person’s work experience for school credit.

When applying, they should send a resume and information about their Drupal experience to Chris Tugwell at the YMCA: ctugwell@seattleymca.org

This portion of the Premium Design Works website is written by Mike Sinkula and dedicated to the Web Design & Development students at Seattle Central Community College.
