Seattle Central Webmaster Internship
Our Seattle Central Webmaster, Shelly, needs some help. She would love someone who could start now and work till July 1. By then we will know if we can continue.
Rate would probably be within what we pay other student hourly, $12 to $13, but would be great experience. 10 hours per week, 2 hours per day Mon-Fri (hours can be flexible).
Technical Skills:
- HTML – Must be able to hand code
- CSS – Must have an understanding of CSS and how it works. Must be able to read an existing style sheet and appropriately apply styles to new content. Does not need to create or edit CSS.
- PHP – Must have a BASIC ability to identify embedded blocks of PHP code when editing HTML and edit the HTML so that it does not break the PHP code.
Communication Skills:
Must have EXCELLENT verbal and written communication skills. Must be EXTREMELY fluent and competent with the English Language. Will need to communicate regularly with originators of web update requests. Will need to be able to read and understand documentation on web policy and web update procedures. Will need to be able to read and understand technical documentation regarding web update procedures.
