Seattle Parks & Recreation Internship
Position title: Assistant Web Developer
Position type: Unpaid internship
Position description: Assist Seattle Parks & Recreation web master with large scale web re-design project. Gain real world technical experience utilizing HTML, CSS, FTP, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and other web industry tools and applications. Work schedule is flexible depending upon student availability (Tuesday-Friday).
Begin date: 02/23/2010
Hours/Days: Flexible, Tuesday – Friday
Minimum qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a team player, have some web development or design experience, be able to listen to and follow instructions, have confidence, be flexible and creative. Also, must possess the following:
- Currently enrolled in college level web development or design studies
- HTML experience
- CSS experience
- Photoshop experience
- Dreamweaver experience
- ASP, Flash, SQL and ASP.NET helpful, but not required
