Seattle Parks & Recreation Web Developer Assistant

Seattle Parks & Recreation is looking for a Web Developer assistant/web manager with large scale web re-design project. Gain real world technical experience utilizing HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and other web industry tools and applications.

Seattle Parks & Recreation operates and maintains parks and facilities in every neighborhood in Seattle.


Position title: Web Developer – Assistant

Position type: unpaid internship

Begin date: 12/15/2008

Hours/Days: flexible, Mon – Thurs

Minimum qualifications:
1.    Currently enrolled in college level web development or design studies
2.    HTML
3.    CSS
4.    Photoshop
5.    Dreamweaver
6.    Flash and .NET helpful, but not required
7.    A background check will be required for all candidates

The ideal candidate will be a team player, have some web development or design experience, be able to listen to and follow instructions, have confidence, be flexible and creative.
