Now that you are somewhat settled on your design, it is time to think about “How am I gonna build that?” From your project website that you picked to use to complete your assignments for this quarter you will need to complete your Page Templates for your site.

Requirements:

  • You will need to complete your Page Template in (X)HTML to standards for your Home page & one main page.
  • This shall be done in (X)HTML and posted to your server
  • Email the URL to your instructor as your Page Template assignment according to the class schedule.

Mike, as I understand it, all you ask for in this assignment is the template for one page (posted).
For WEB120 a similar assignment requires templates for two pages that are functionally linked together.
For my own benefit in efficiently finishing my final project, I’m planning to make one more template for a page design that will be used repeatedly.

My question: for this assignment, do you want me to post the two-page or three-page template set?

For a gallery site, I have 3 x 5 color photos on paper of the work (not the digital files). I’m unsure what resolution to use in scanning them. The photos will appear on the screen/page in a size not too different from their printed size.

Should I scan them at slightly higher resolution and the use 72dpi when I save for web and devices?

Or scan at 72, save at 72?

    Or some other scheme?
